I am so in love with the process of transforming a clients hair color. Organic blending of natural, rich, complementary colors infused in shine leaving the hair in great condition and uplifting your happiness. This client was such a honor to have in the chair. All one length virgin hair. A stylist dream. She came to me after a 8" haircut that had not brought her the change or attention she was wanting. I suggested color to compliment a new adjusted haircut giving dimension and depth that just layers could not do. I did take off another 2", delicately layering for movement and fullness and not the "dreaded step layers". Her color we decided on natural hues of blonde, balayage and a row of summer baby lites technique i learned on my education trip to New York City. I free hand painted natural accents and the ending result was beautiful!!
Spring has arrived and inspired a new edition to Propagandaak, " Mother Earth" photo shoot series, Mitch Kitter designed the not only creative but regal organic dress from hand picked pussy willows he found in Alaskan fields. Model Jessica Armstrong wore it elegantly. For her hair I opted for a wig for the over all extension in length and volume. I will have a educational blog coming soon just on wig maintenance and styling. Location was the drama filled scenery of the Kincaid sand dunes in south Anchorage Alaska at sunset. It was a wonderful night sharing the experience Live world wide with our Periscope friends. Stay tuned for more exciting photo shoots coming soon!
